Love & Respect

Ephesians 5:33 (NLT) So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.  

Everybody needs both love and respect, so why would Paul specifically tell husbands to love and wives to respect?  These 2,000-year-old instructions are consistent with modern insight about differences between men and women.  Discovering God's design for loving and respectful relationships helps us live and love well.
