“God has now revealed to us his mysterious plan regarding Christ, a plan to fulfill his own good pleasure” (Ephesians 1:9). For thousands of years, prophets and philosophers guessed at how God planned to set a wayward world back on course. At Christmastime we celebrate the Christ child born in a manger, the hope for the world and God’s gift to all who will receive Him.
