1. What fears do you have?  What fears have you faced and conquered?
2. Read Acts 9:31 (NLT) The church then had peace throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, and it became stronger as the believers lived in the fear of the Lord. And with the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, it also grew in numbers.
   1. How does the fear of the Lord make people stronger?
   2. How could fear of the Lord make this church stronger?
3. How would your life be different if you had a more accurate understanding of God’s attributes—His deep love, His profound holiness, His perfect justice, and so on?

Hope is Hiring

Resolve

As your willingness intersects God’s will, and you endure conflicts from all sides, you are transformed. There is no going back to the innocence and ignorance of the past. The height of conflict

The difference between a hero and a villain has a lot to do with how they approach difficulties. Paul the Apostle sets a great example of an unlikely hero who handles tremendous conflict humbly and faithfully. How will you prepare for those conflicts? Who have you trusted the most on your spiritual journey? How will you endure if God’s will leads them elsewhere?

An Unlikely Hero - You

Key Scripture - Acts 9:1-20 BIG IDEA: Your adventure begins when God's WILL intersects with your WILLINGNESS. Questions for reflection and discussion: What are your favorite adventure stories? Do they have unlikely heroes? What made them unlikely? If God approached you with a difficult mission, what reasons could you give Him that you are an unlikely candidate? Have you turned your will over to God through Christ and experienced a transformation? In what ways are you still resisting God's will in your life? Are you willing to pray about that right now?

Creating and cultivating

Today’s culture tells us that manhood is defined by what a man consumes, but God’s plan is for men to be creators and cultivators.  (Message recorded June 10, 2012) KEY TEXT: 1 Samuel 2:12 (NLT) Now the sons of Eli were scoundrels who had no respect for the Lord... BIG IDEA: The transition from boy to man is a transition from consuming to creating and cultivating. How can you help build a culture that supports young men in transitioning from consuming to creating and cultivating? Life moves fast.  It's easy to forget that the way we live our lives today influences how people will live their lives tomorrow.  Start living your legacy now. What is the cost when there is a lack of commitment in a relationship? …in a family? …in a job? …in a church? …in a nation? 3. Why is commitment important to living a legacy? 4.
