A repeated lyric in the 1963 song "Surf City" promised "two girls for every boy".  Over 1,000 before Christ, a song with a similar lyric was written by a prophet named Deborah.  Unlike "Surf City", the song of Deborah is dripping with irony...and blood.  Find out how God worked through female action heroes, and what their account has to do with you. c

The book of Judges includes some of the most graphic violence in the Bible.  It can look to us lika  barbaric time in history that is impossible for us to replate to.  But when we understand that God wants to purify our lives the way He wanted to purify the Promised Land, we begin to see important parallels.  (Message recorded 08-01-2010.)

This week, New Day takes the service outside! The Village of Weston has invited us to have a church service that is open to the community.  The service included more music, and a to-the-point message.  (Message recorded 07-25-2010 at Kennedy Park, Weston)

Even people who don’t know much about Jesus, realize that he spent a lot of his time reaching out to outsiders.  This week we’ll see how Jesus brought the margins of society into the center of his mission.  Then we’ll look at real statistics and stories about the outsiders in our neighborhoods.  How would Jesus reach out to them--and to us?  (recorded July 18, 2010)

What is church here for?  Would our community be any different if New Day was gone?  What difference do we hope to make in the next year?  Five years? Ten years?  God designed the church to be the hope of the world.  It's time we live by that design.  (Message recorded July 11, 2010 )
