In Remembrance
Wednesday Jun 02, 2010
Wednesday Jun 02, 2010
It’s Memorial Day weekend—a time to remember. In the midst of everything else we do to kick off summer in Wisconsin, we are compelled to remember that freedom isn’t free. Our constitutional freedom is paid for by the blood of thousands of soldiers. That is what Memorial Day is about. We have another kind of freedom that was paid for with the blood of God’s Son. That is what this hour on Sunday morning is about—a time to remember. We’ll do that by hearing from the Bible and sharing Communion. (Message recorded May 30, 2010)

What's the Difference - Islam and More
Monday May 03, 2010
Monday May 03, 2010
Jesus prayed that his followers would be united (John 17:20-21), so why does it seem like the church is so divided? What is the difference between Catholic and Protestant churches anyway? How are Lutheran, Methodist, and Baptist traditions different? What about Judaism and Islam—two world religions that appear to share roots with Christianity? What should you say to people who come to your door to talk about religion? Ultimately, this series is about more than just understanding; it’s about having a deeper love for God, a broader love for our neighbor, and worship rooted in spirit and truth (John 4:23).
